After the merger of the pension insurance companies Eläke-Fennia and Tapiola, the newly formed company Elo moved to Espoo premises and Kamppi Quarter "Kampin Huippu" was left empty and renovated for new users.
The first section to be completed was Aava Medical Centre and the second the 1st floor business premises. These were followed by the renovation of the office premises into Business Center for several different companies.
The construction of Aava Medical Centre was started in 2012 by puncturing a lift shaft in Forum parking premises and by installing a lift for the coming renovation and modification. The project was logistically very demanding due to its location right next to the busiest shopping center in Helsinki. It was completed in the end of 2014.
